Davis McCoy, a veteran, a hardened Dallas Homicide cop, who spends much of his time in the cop doghouse, works regularly with Detective Margaret “Maggs” Wilson and super badass Detective Red Harper. They are assigned to the early morning machinegun-slaughter of all employees of a downtown deli and a Dallas motorcycle cop who appeared to have dropped in for coffee with disastrous results.
