Corey Carter developed a love for writing during childhood, and that love grew immensely as she studied English literature at East Carolina University. For many years, private journals served as a welcomed escape to record her dreams, memories, stories, and poems, until she decided to publish her first novel in 2014. Corey now resides in Eastern North Carolina, where she works from home to spend more time with her daughter.
