Yet, Regent of the Blackwood Kingdom wants to purge all traces of magic from the land. When his soldiers burn down Jacob’s village, leaving him as the only survivor, Jacob realizes the extermination is mounting to a nightmarish scale. He’s thrust into battle against the Regent’s soldiers and magically created beasts to prevent more bloodshed than magic could ever cause on its own.

A Word from the Author

author kc blackbyrn pictureStirring Power started out as a fever dream to put a book into the world that I would love to read. It took five years’ worth of headaches, frustrations, exhilarations, and rewrites (many, many of them) to flesh out exactly what I wanted in this story. And what I wanted was to explain, via this story, how magic came into the world of fantasy and how wrong we all were about its beginnings.

“This was an amazingly entertaining read. ”
— Jordan Binkerd, Manhattan Book Review

“The plot is so carefully crafted, the suspense as powerful as the magic world of the book, and the action breathtaking. This one is a thrilling read, fast-paced, and bitingly entertaining. ”
— Romuald Dzemo, San Diego Book Review

“An engaging and heart wrenching tale of love, loss, deceit and desperation…there is tremendous passion on both the personal and universal levels that draws you in and breaks your heart.”
— Melinda Hills, Readers’ Favorite

A Word from the Author

Author ML Spencer pictureDarkstorm is a turbulent grimdark fantasy that explores the murky gray area between two different types of moral ethics, deontology and consequentialism. In Darkstorm, good and evil are fluid and often hard to define, while both heroes and antagonist struggle toward opposing goals that are at once both justifiable and reprehensible.

A Word from the Author

author David Pauly picutreMyths shifts the focus of the story to the land of the Gracies, where a pastoral race of people have lived in isolation in their land of Platonia for centuries. When the magic that protects their land begins to fail, they are forced to search for the mythical Gemwings, giant sentient insects that maybe instrumental to the restoration of their well of life. Leaving Platonia, our reluctant adventurers, find themselves on a desperate journey to the Vale of the Magi attacked by brigands, determined to stop the Gracies at any cost. The book concludes, with a shift again to prince Darahil and his exile into the dark lor Magnar’s former realm, Plaga Erebus. Daerahil is helpless to prevent the slow murder and disappearance of his men, as he is unable to find the killer in the haunted shadows of the dark land. Daerahil comes face to face with a mythical dark creature, the Vagwar, who offers Daerahil a terrible choice, ally with the Vagwar, or fight it to the death. You, the reader will be immersed within the legends and myths of Nostraterra and enjoy a rich descriptive story that will whet your appetite for the continuation of the ShadowWars series in Dark Shaman, soon to be published.
