A Word from the Author
When I woke from a vivid dream, I had no idea that dream would turn into a Young Adult novel, NOVUS (The Cresecren Chronicles, Book 1). Furthermore, it would turn into an Award-winning one! NOVUS has won two book awards in its category, “Official Selection” NEW APPLE AWARDS and “Best Books” PINNACLE BOOK ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS. I daydream creating stories in my mind, I dream at night, and the dreams that I can’t stop thinking about, I jot down. Who knows, maybe one day they will become a book too.
What was it that was so special about this particular dream? The people in it and the world they were in. I could NOT stop thinking about it. I wanted to get to know these people and where they came from. I think this is portrayed in my writing as I have seen reviews and had people compliment my world building. I wanted to bring my readers to what I saw and how I felt at that moment. I think readers will fall in love with my characters as I did when writing the story. They became my friends and I was excited to see what they were up to every time I sat down to write.
