The story of Ben Taylor continues in Ben and the Watcher of Zargon. In Ben the Dragonborn, our hero discovered that his mother is from another world. Now there are scales appearing on Ben’s back. There are more of them with every passing day. Soon he won’t be able to keep the fact that he is part dragonborn secret. His attempts to transform into a dragon have failed, but he fears that if he can’t transform soon, he‘s going to turn into something that is neither human nor dragon. Ben must go to his mother’s home world to find someone who can help him transform safely. Earth’s Watcher believes his life is in danger and would love to send him to Zargon, but something has gone wrong on that world. Zargon’s Watcher is not at his post. Miss Templeton doesn’t want to send Ben until she hears from the Watcher of Zargon and knows that it is safe to do so, but the day arrives when Ben can no longer stay on Earth. He must go to Zargon and face whatever dangers wait for him there.
