Having lost her bourgeois family to the Revolution in France, Adriana Dupré had nothing left. She fell in with a Russian émigré, only to learn the woman was a vampire. Adriana was drawn into the woman’s world, becoming a vampire and joining the woman’s cult of female vampire assassins.

Adriana proved an exceptional assassin — until the day she learned her werewolf targets were her mortal ancestors.
Adriana sought revenge against the cult of assassins, a war she wages to this day. In Los Angeles, she finds a sorcerer who can help her. She makes a deal with him to find three ancient shards. He will then impart his knowledge.

Adriana journeys to Berlin after the shards, encountering a trio of warrior sorcerers determined to stop her from getting the shards.

Just as Adriana’s situation worsens, she discovers that not all of her werewolf ancestors are dead — and they want revenge against her!

Despite her efforts, Adriana finds herself an unwitting pawn in the war between supernatural creatures known as the Shadowdance.

A Word from the Author

The “Shadowdance” action/ urban fantasy saga has been in my head since the mid-nineties, before “Buffy” and “Blade,” inspired by the Anita Blake novels by Laurell K. Hamilton. It had gone through two screenplays and a comic book before I realized I have neither the millions of dollars to produce a movie nor the artistic ability to draw a comic book. On a friend’s advice, I started writing novels.
