A Word from the Author
The situations I write about are always real-life but hopefully with an extra dose of spice. I try hard to make my characters realistic. I want them to have human dilemmas and to make painful mistakes that seem impossible to resolve.
I hope you’ll be drawn into the lives of Grace, Sam and Dixie, old friends who think they’re as close as family. Then a twenty year old secret rocks them to the core, revealing the jealousy and hurt that has always been simmering beneath the surface. I’ve long had a fascination for secrets, how people go to great lengths to hide things and what happens when the truth comes out.
HIGH HOPES is an emotional page-turner. The visual style and short chapters are perfect for commuting and coffee-breaks and just the thing for a lazy read over the holidays.
