A Word from the Author
Stirring Power started out as a fever dream to put a book into the world that I would love to read. It took five years’ worth of headaches, frustrations, exhilarations, and rewrites (many, many of them) to flesh out exactly what I wanted in this story. And what I wanted was to explain, via this story, how magic came into the world of fantasy and how wrong we all were about its beginnings.
