A Word from the Author
I have suffered with various mental health issues, including depression and anxiety. Through many therapeutic talking therapies, writing my memoirs, and a lot of self-help, I am able to cope and manage symptoms. I rarely suffer anymore, and have been a BACP Therapeutic Counsellor for the past year. One of the big things was to help myself, but once I had the skills to do so, I wanted to share them to help many others via this self-help book and my counselling and life writing workshops.
It’s an easy to read book, full of coping skills and ways to think in a different way about your symptoms of depression and/or anxiety.
Even without depression or anxiety, there are many tips for better living, so it’s a great book for anyone to read, and especially if you know someone with depression or anxiety, so you can help them better.
