Nora survived a parent’s worst nightmare, but now lives in a small compressed world keeping people at bay. When he starts to lean on Nora for her advice and eventually to help fill the hole left by Nora’s mother in that role the woman who doesn’t need anybody starts to be the person he can’t live without. When offered the offer of his career though, will he choose this flourishing happiness or chase his own dreams to new horizons?

Nora physically survived the most horrific night of her life after loosing her twin sons, but mentally she curled up inside herself shutting the world out. Moving home, working for her mother and basically doing only the minimal amount needed to consider herself alive was everything she could muster. She can’t be around children, people, happiness, joy or anything else that even faintly resembles the life she had once envisioned for herself. One little girl who has been robbed of her own voice after loosing her mother in a tragic moment of her own, tears the healing wounds around Nora’s heart wide open and has her rejoining the human race if only to help guide this troubled girl back to her own happy ending.
This book was inspired by the women who suffer atrocities at the hand of abusers, but rise up to be life’s greatest inspiration to those around them. Never allowing what is done to them to define their story!
