A Word from the Author
Avenging Angels was an idea that started when I was working as a child abuse investigator for Riverside County. All the procedural material was accurate, and several of the events were inspired by investigations I was involved in, directly or indirectly. I recently tried to get assistance with a blog tour for Avenging Angels but found that the idea of even mentioning child abuse was difficult for some folks, and a trigger. Which I found somewhat odd, since “Death Wish” has been a two-time success with a huge trigger probability. I totally respect other’s need to feel safe; after all, I am a psychotherapist.
