A Word from the Author
I began writing Rebekah’s Quilt many years ago when I was researching my family history. I found a branch of my dad’s family who arrived in the United States from Austria – and settled in Lancaster County. Well, I automatically assumed, yay! My family is Amish! So in a plain-style fervor I began my four-book Rebekah’s Keepsakes series. It wasn’t until well after Rebekah’s Quilt was published that I learned the truth about this branch of my family . . . which spurred another forthcoming Amish series. However, Rebekah’s Quilt remains one of my favorite books I’ve eve researched and written – and I hope my excitement shows through on the pages for each and every reader!
