Bio
I was born and raised in New York and have lived all over the country—in Massachusetts, Georgia, California, Arizona, Virginia, and Pennsylvania, with a second stint in New York as an adult. I have been a middle and high school teacher (English and Humanities), a playwright, a theater director, an investment banking secretary, and a developer of print and online curriculum and teacher training materials. When not working or writing, I can usually be found reading, watching old movies, or listening to music. My wife, Heather, produces and hosts the CraftLit podcast (which she calls “audiobooks with benefits”). We have two sons—one in college and one in high school.
