Bio
Linda Lappin has published four novels: The Etruscan (Wynkin deWorde, 2004); Katherine’s Wish (Wordcraft, 2008), dealing with Katherine Mansfield’s life; Signatures in Stone: A Bomarzo Mystery (Pleasure Boat Studio, 2013,2023), winner of the Daphne Award for best mystery of 2013; and Loving Modigliani: The Afterlife of Jeanne Hébuterne (Serving House Books, 2020), 2021 Indie Reader Women’s Fiction Award winner and Daphne finalist. She is also the author of The Soul of Place: Ideas and Exercises for Conjuring the Genius Loci, (Travelers Tales, 2015). A former Fulbright scholar, she has lived in Italy for over thirty years. A new edition of The Etruscan is forthcoming in 2024 from Pleasure Boat Studio.
This new edition of Signatures in Stone commemorates the 500th anniversary of the Bomarzo Park of Monsters.
