“The Space Traveller’s Lover” is Omara Williams’ first published book, and recently, she has been selected as Book Excellence Award Honouree in the Science-Fiction category. She is now working on what will be her first science-fiction series.
Omara has always been fascinated by science and technology and the intense emotions of love stories, all of which make up this intriguing, thought-provoking book. Although the book’s central theme is romance, she has expertly blended science into the story, asking many profound questions concerning life as we know it, the nature of the human spirit, the meaning of home and belonging, loyalty vs duty, and our treatment of Mother Nature.
Omara Williams holds a BSc Honours degree in Nuclear Engineering from Havana University and several Information Technology diplomas from Leeds University, and she is currently an award-winning software manager.
When she is not working, she enjoys reading, writing, listening to music, watching the night sky, investigating ancient alien theories, and chasing total solar eclipses.
Omara lives with her husband and daughter in Cambridge, United Kingdom.
