Bio
Rachael was born in Middlesbrough in the north east of England, later moving to the West Midlands. She is married to Neil and has two sons, Daniel and Ben.
Rachael has always had a passion for animals, she has always had Jack Russell dogs, it was her family of dogs who inspired ‘A Pack of Jacks`. She is also a lover of horse riding and loves to hack out in the countryside when she has the time.
Rachael qualified as a hairstylist in the 90’s but gave this up to look after her eldest son, Daniel, who was diagnosed with learning disabilities and Autism, shortly after his birth.
Rachael has used her writing as an outlet for the stresses of life and loves writing about her dogs. She is also a fan of science fiction and romance and has many ongoing projects which she hopes to release in the future. For now though, she is happy to concentrate her writing efforts on the Pack of Jacks stories, as she feels the stories would benefit children from all backgrounds, using real events with her dogs to teach valuable life lessons to children whilst having fun.
