Bio
Elbot Carman was born in Ohio (although he considers Fairbanks, Alaska his true home). Carman is a graphic designer by profession and has previously worked for several publications throughout his career. Carman has studied illustration, print media, and writing at several universities and publications. In addition to writing, all of the illustrations included in the Lola the Buhund series are drawn by him. He currently lives in the Atlanta, Georgia area with his rescued Buhund, Hikaru Lola, who was the inspiration for the book series’ protagonist.
