Bio
Jim Cronin is a retired science teacher and is currently a part-time educator/performer at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. I have always loved reading science fiction and fantasy novels, so, when the opportunity arose, I decided to try my hand at writing my own tales of adventure. As it turns out, there were indeed quite a few stories rattling around in my head just waiting to come out. I started with Hegira a time travel story of distant worlds, ultimate doom, and empires. With the success I saw after this first attempt, I completed the trilogy, The Brin Archives, and brought the tale from its humble beginnings to a grand conclusion of interstellar impact. Aeon Rises came about when I attempted to write a story that would appeal to the young adults I had spent so much time working with over my career, and it too became a success. My latest novel, The King of Gems is my effort to combine two worlds, science fiction and fantasy into a single adventure story. I had a wonderful time writing it and look forward to seeing how it is received.
