I live on the Guadalupe River Delta on the Texas Gulf Coast. I live in a swamp two miles, on the opposite end of the same property, where I was born and raised. When I got out of college, I decided I had to spend my life in the outdoors, so I became a commercial fisherman. After 20+ years, I became a contractor. Now that I’ve outgrown that hard work after another 20+ years, I write. I can still out work most people my age, but I can’t take the heat. So, I work taking care of my property and write in the comfort of my home. As I live on a river, a fishing trip is always in the works, or I can just go outside and fish in my own back yard.
