This was the first of my Regency romances and I really enjoyed writing it. Mystery, intrigue, and devious plots abound! A young woman with family secrets arrives to be the companion of the Dowager Duchess. Her son is not at all happy about his ancestral home being invaded by his Mama’s choice of companion. Although he tries to talk her out of it, the old lady digs her heels in and won’t budge. Used to getting his own way, the duke is determined that the young woman, when she arrives, will not stay very long. And now the fun begins… (Arabella Sheraton, 2021)
