Author Stephanie Churchill
Bio
Stephanie Churchill grew up in the American Midwest, attended college, and then worked as a paralegal in Washington, D.C. Never once, in all that time, did she ever imagine becoming a writer. Yes, she had a vivid imagination, was always daydreaming and creating worlds in her head, but write? Books? It was never on her radar. Working an office job and obtaining a regular paycheck was definitely a sensible way to live. One day while on her lunch break, she discovered the books of author Sharon Kay Penman and became an instant fan. Years later through social media interaction, Stephanie became friends with Ms. Penman, leading to a conversation about writing. As a result of that conversation, Ms. Penman asked Stephanie the most life-altering question: “Have you ever thought about writing?” And her first novel, The Scribe’s Daughter, was born.
