With his help, she struggles to uncover the secrets behind the shadow of violence that hangs over the town. But the closer they get to the truth, the more she wonders if her trust and attraction for Jason are a mistake.

Cathleen O’Brien is a Celtic Wizard, trained in the Druid tradition. Her new life as the owner of a small radio station, takes her to the turn-of-the-century coal mining town of Iron Mountain.
Located in the rugged, unforgiving mountains of Appalachia, the people in her new home, deal with harsh conditions, whispering among themselves of legends that have haunted the town folk for over one hundred years.
Her natural curiosity is stirred by the stories and yellowed newspaper clippings she uncovers in the town archives, leading her unknowingly, into her first investigation of a paranormal mystery.
Sudden deaths and disappearances have haunted Iron Mountain since its earliest days according to her research. Cathleen is determined to unearth the evil that has stalked the trails and ravished the population from its earliest days.
Her investigation is complicated by the indication that there may be shifters hiding among the placid faces of Iron Mountain and she has no idea how many, or exactly who the enemy truly is.
Cathleen teems up with the handsome town Sheriff, Jason Tate as they try to unravel the ever-tightening hold of the unnamed evil living among them.
