The fourth book in my “Witch of Appalachia” Series, “Bringing Forth the Dead” presents a new challenge to the Celtic Wizard, Cathleen O’Brien.
She and fiancé, Jason Tate, travel to Ireland, where they are to be married in her mother’s ancestral castle, O’Brinnion Keep.
While guests from the Council of Green Wizards, enjoy the excitement of prenuptial activities, a subtle darkness begins to settle around the couple like a shroud.
Cathleen learns of a curse placed upon her family by the Necromancer, Arcon Fearsome. He will have his revenge on Cathleen’s parents and every Council member involved in his banishment to the fourth plane. His words are etched in his burning hatred and have followed the O’Brien family through time like a dark shadow.
Cathleen and her mother, Brighid, call upon the powerful leader of the Colossus Faerie Clan, the Teacher, to battle the Necromancer and his dead slaves beside them. Victory isn’t certain, as one by one, Fearsome snatches life’s breath from the wedding guests and castle staff. Cathleen’s dearest friends, or Jason, could be his next victims.
Along with her mother, a Master Wizard in her own right and the unnervingly handsome Teacher, Cathleen confronts the vengeance driven necromancer. He is set on the annihilation of Council of Green Wizards and the enslavement of Cathleen, the last blood link to the O’Brien clan.
