“On the Outward Edge” is the first book in a new space opera series, filled with intrigue, action and compelling characters. The story is based in The Core, a galactic empire that has lasted over a thousand years. There are ten ruling houses, each controlling a sector of space. The Emperor rules over them all. “On the Outward Edge” kicks off a series of events that put the entire Core at risk of collapse.
The story follows Princess Serina, the only surviving heir of the Emperor. She’s been groomed to lead since she was a child. Now she’s of age and beginning to question certain truths. Her quest for answers could undermine her future, predetermined by her mentor Chancellor Zul.
The series is presented on Kindle in short fast-paced bursts, reminiscent of a TV series or pulp-fiction of long ago.
