Mason Mirage collects the head of magic users in bizarre hunts and kidnaps the beautiful Witch of Appalachia to become the centerpiece of his horrific collection. Cathleen is imprisoned in a vast mountain retreat patrolled by Undead Guards. Reaching out to her husband, Jason Tate, Cathleen sets her rescue in motion. Teaming with the powerful Historian, Jason sets out to locate his wife before Mirage can take her head.
Cathleen devises a way to free herself and three other magic users, only to find themselves betrayed and fighting for their lives in a new kind of prison, the Labyrinth of Lies. Jason and the Historian unwittingly become pawns in the sick games Mirage and his henchman, Byron Bledsworth, play so successfully in the maze.
Unravelling the hidden agenda behind the cruel hunts, Cathleen and the others eventually travel into the Third Realm where the real threat has put down deep roots near the Sacred Grove. It will be here they must battle the Demi-God Gorgon for the Mother’s powers and the key to Her four Realms.
A Word from the Author

There are so many secrets that must be kept, and if you are both powerful, and beautiful, you may attract the attention of those consumed by a desire to posses such an exotic woman. Dark Magic User, Mason Mirage is such creature. While his fabulous wealth has allowed him to have whatever he wants, his Dark powers have destroyed any opposition to his unbridled greed. He has hunted and slaughtered every kind of animal, but his hunting has turned deadly for a new prey; other Magic Users. The idea of hunting the Witch of Appalachia and claiming her head for his Trophy Room, has inflamed Mirage’s imagination. His lust for the power he would possess when he captures the lovely Celtic Wizard, Cathleen O’Brien, is like a drug. He will do anything to fulfill this desire, from building a deadly hunting grounds, called the Labyrinth of Lies, to giving up his very humanity to Gorgon, the brutal Demi-God.

Only by summoning her love, Jason, and the powerful Green Wizard, The Historian, can she hope to escape Mirage, and end his campaign of eradication of innocent Magic Users. Cathleen has always known there is danger in possessing Magic. That danger is having Magic possess the user and loosing oneself to its seductive call. Mirage will stop at nothing to claim her as his prize, his human nature lost to the Darkest of forces that Cathleen has ever battled. Loosing can’t be an option.
