Bio
David Pilling is a full-time author and historian living in rural West Wales, where the landscape fires his imagination. His works of fiction embrace medieval Wales, England and France, as well as the Byzantine Empire and the Holy Land. He has also written nonfiction works on the history of Edward I and Wales and the revolt of Simon de Montfort, along with an upcoming book on the origins of the Hundred Years War. Apart from medieval and Roman history, his passions in life include music and exploring the countryside. He is also an experienced genealogist with a professional background in archives and records management.
