Bio
Christian Warren Freed spent over two decades in the US Army, with a quarter of that in different war zones. He combines his master’s degree in military history, firsthand knowledge of tactics and strategy to bring fantasy worlds to life. The author of over twenty military fantasy and science fiction novels, he has also written his memoirs from Iraq and Afghanistan, a children’s book, and a self-help book for aspiring fiction writers. He loves good bourbon and better cigars. He currently lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife, two children, and their two Bernese Mountain Dogs.
