Bio
Born into a large, very gregarious Italian family, I was introduced to the many joys of reading a book very early on. My family moved to the mid-west when I was still in my formative young teen years. Of all the things I mourned losing from my eastern connection, my accent wasn’t among them. I graduated in due course, from a private all-girls academy where the nuns diligently worked to instill a modicum of ladylike behavior into us and in my case thank God, failed dismally.
I have always been an avid reader, something that anyone aspiring to become an author of more than a tweet, might want to take under consideration. Books opened my imagination and out flowed poetry, short stories, some community theater acting, more poetry, articles for a few magazines interested in literacy, the mantra of the day and finally, my series, “Witch of Appalachia”.
I married once for practice, then found my true love at the zoo, as wild as that sounds (excuse the pun). There are three offspring running about with some of my gene markers and good looks (just thought I’d see if I still had your attention) and a couple, sired by my husband, but they still claim me.
I have been writing on my current series for almost five years and have added a Paranormal Romance Thriller to my “soon to be released” titles. I enjoy every kind of genre, though admit anything with a magical element will always win out when choosing reading material.
I found a lovely quotation that I try to live by:
“No matter how busy you think you are, you must find time for reading, or surrender yourself to self-chosen ignorance.” —-Confucius
