Bio
Born in Brisbane, Australia, I’m the eldest of two girls in a family of four. My father was born in Italy and my mother was born in Australia, but has Dutch/Indonesian and Scottish heritage. It was my grandmother, a successful playwright and actor, who inspired my interest in reading and writing. I have seen all her plays produced on stage and am in awe of her ability to make a packed theatre laugh and cry. My grandmother has since handed to me a gold trinket, which has been passed down through four generations of writers in our family. It’s nice to know that my passion for writing really is in my DNA.
