Rob Ramer was the perfect husband until he committed the ultimate family faux pas—he shot his sister-in-law to death. Believing himself under attack by an intruder in his home, he fired back. But when evidence is discovered that Rob’s wife, Brooke, was plotting his murder, Brooke is charged with conspiracy in her sister’s death. Geneva, a third sister, is desperate for answers and seeks the help of her friend, San Francisco astrologer Julia Bonatti. Geneva’s lost one sister and now it seems she’ll lose the other. Was this a murder plot or just a terrible accident? Julia vows to find the answer in the stars.

A Word from the Author

Author Connie di Marco Picture

All Signs was inspired by real events I learned of, events that involved people I personally knew. I wasn’t able to accept the official version and struggled to understand how this crime could have happened. All Signs came to be my personal alternative theory of what might have actually happened.

My protagonist, Julia Bonatti, has been asked by her old friend Geneva to serve as a bridesmaid at her wedding, along with Geneva’s two sisters. Julia, still grieving the death of her fiancé in a hit and run accident, would like to refuse but feels she cannot deny her friend’s request. Geneva had been an incredible support to her after her fiancé’s death and Julia feels a tremendous loyalty and obligation to her.

Of course, no one consulted an astrologer before planning the event and Julia’s very alarmed at the planetary line up in the heavens. When one sister of the bride is shot to death, the other is implicated in her murder. Geneva begs Julia for help. She has never believed in astrology but she’s desperate for answers. She has lost one sister and now it seems she will lose the other. Is there more to this family than meets the eye? Julia finds the answer in a dark sun.
