Bio
Joan Histon’s writing journey started when she was six. She moved to Croydon, in Surrey, but having a northern accent she was a prime target for bullying at school. But then two kindly girls appeared and eased the loneliness of the new girl on the block. They were perfect friends – because they came out of her imagination. Joan has been engrossed in books and story-telling ever since.
It was through her experiences as a professional counsellor, and witnessing her clients overcoming major difficulties in their lives that drew her into ghost writing. Naturally, when these clients wanted to share these experiences with the world, Joan was delighted to take on the task.
When all three of her children had left the nest, Joan and her husband, Colin moved to the lovely market town of Hexham, in Northumberland, close to the Roman Wall. That was when her interest in the Romans was stirred, and the first of the historical thrillers, a trilogy of books was written.
